PE & Sport Premium

The PE and Sport Premium allocation for Newton Village Academy is £18,160 for the academic year 2022/23. Here at Newton, we have a strong sporting history, with participation in local community and county competitions alongside non-competitive events. The funding will be used to maintain our high standards within the PE curriculum and school sport.

This year we intend on using the budget to:

Encourage more pupils attended sporting events.
Provide more opportunities for extra-curricular activity.
Improve performance in sporting events across local schools.
Offer further opportunities for afterschool activities.
Develop links with local sports teams as role models.
Develop the variety of sporting opportunities being offered.
